This web page is intended to provide important information to Caldwell Parish about how CCOA is monitoring the coronavirus outbreak. We are working closely with the Governor’s Office of Elderly Affairs to ensure the safety and security for everyone in accordance with guidance of Governor John Bel Edwards and any/all Proclamations submitted. Caldwell Parish Council on Aging, Inc., is deemed to be an essential business. We are actively taking all the measures to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) in our community.  All services are up and running at the present time.  Due to the uncertainty of possible temporary closures due to COVID, telephone and email assistance are available (monica@caldwellcoa.org).  You may call 318-649-2584 or 318-649-0107 from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday and Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

The Caldwell Council on Aging is a Non-Profit provider of services organized in May of 1964 in Caldwell Parish of Louisiana to provide services for the elderly. In the years since the CCOA has evolved into a premier provider of elderly services.

 

Caldwell Council on Aging provides Public Transportation and Title 19 Transportation.

 

Under the Older Americans Act, Caldwell Council on Aging provides services such as Congregate Meals, Home Delivered Meals, Information & Assistance, Personal Emergency Response Systems, Case Management, Homemaker Services, Education, Assessment Screening, Preventive Health Programs, Energy Assistance, Transportation & various types of Recreation.

 

Caldwell Council on Aging is also the parent of CCOA Case Management Agency since 1993, and handles the growing demand for case management services that includes all targeted populations for Region 8.

 

Caldwell Council on Aging services hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Thursday and Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
